About the Role

The successful candidate will be a seasoned sales and business development professional who will explore and market fintech business opportunities with family offices and asset managers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities

  • Business development for Asia, both English and Chinese-speaking markets
  • Development of B&B Analytics entry strategy for mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and overseas Chinese markets in Africa
  • Identifying and establishing strategic partners for local representation, distribution and delivery of B&B Analytics products and services
  • Providing strategic consulting for Greater China clients in terms of strategic asset allocation and liability management
  • Providing strategic consulting for Swiss and European clients entering the Greater China market
  • Creating company factsheets for external client circulation in Chinese language
  • Interpretation of Mandarin and Chinese dialects (including Fujian, Cantonese and Taiwanese) into English during sales pitches, conferences and seminars
  • Assisting non-bankable assets team in valuation of private companies in Asia-Pacific markets, especially in emerging markets like China, Vietnam, Philippines and Africa
  • Carrying out ad-hoc tasks such as operational tasks, internal documentation tasks and preparation of marketing materials

Skills/Experience

  • Long term experience in sales to Wealth Management, Banking, Financial Advisory, MIS and Asset Management Industry
  • Specific market knowledge in Greater China especially in HNW & UHNW Industry
  • Access and knowledge on overseas Chinese markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam and Africa) is highly appreciated
  • We expect the candidate to be highly self-driven and having a solid relationship and wide network with target clients in those specific markets
  • Candidate must have the in-roads to who and how to penetrate the markets

Qualifications

  • Master in Finance/Finance Engineering
  • Master in Wealth Management in English speaking jurisdictions (like US, Commonwealth countries, Singapore or Hong Kong)
  • English (C1)
  • Mandarin (C1)
  • Very good knowledge of and ideally fluent in Chinese Dialects (Fujian, Cantonese and Taiwanese)

  • Create and execute an onboarding plan and provide training to our new clients

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a detail oriented individual who will work closely with the operations lead to on-board new clients, ensure data quality, deliver post trade support, and conduct portfolio maintenance activities. The candidate will also contribute towards improving operational efficiency of relevant processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and reconcile trade flows on existing client portfolios, and set up new client portfolios as and when they are on-boarded.
  • Ensure that portfolio management systems and risk management systems are up to date with latest and accurate information.
  • Achieve scalability of operations via automation of daily/weekly/monthly processes while simultaneously reducing operational risk.
  • Run trade capture, booking and reconciliation for live client portfolios and investment funds.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly risk and performance reports and run plausibility checks to validate output.
  • Support functional manager in liaising with external third parties (IT, software) to ensure that all functional bottlenecks are resolved in a timely manner.
